Living Well with Diabetes was designed for people with type 2 diabetes to learn a variety of day-to-day self-management skills to actively manage their diabetes.
This program is run by peer leaders who understand just how challenging it can be to make our own health and wellness a priority. Throughout this six session series that has been proven to promote health and prevent disease, you’ll learn how to boost your energy, improve mood and decrease fatigue.

This evidence based workshop helps empower adults to address and better manage their health issues by increasing self-efficacy, improving knowledge, developing positive behavior change, and improved self-management. Topics such as testing your blood sugar, menu planning, stress management, treating low blood sugar, strategies for sick days are covered, plus so much more!

Jen Paquet has worked at Spectrum Generations since 2014. In her role as the Healthy Living Program Coordinator she teaches a variety of evidenced based health promotion programs, including adult, child and infant first aid, CPR and AED, chronic disease and pain self-management, diabetes prevention and self-management, and falls prevention programs.
