Belfast Senior College is offering an opportunity for our member artists to display one of their creations during the month of <strong>September</strong>.&nbsp;The art show will be in the Belfast Free Library's <strong>Barbara Kramer Gallery and Abbott Room.</strong>&nbsp;</p> <p>Below, please find more details. There’ll be an <strong>opening reception</strong> on Thursday, September 3, from 4 - 6 PM.</p> <p>We are looking forward to celebrating our members’ talents!<br></p> <p><strong>CALL FOR ART:</strong></p> <p>Register early so you don’t miss out!&nbsp;We’ll be accepting the first 40 artworks that are registered. We ask that you register only one of your pieces. Registration will open Monday, June 8.</p> <p><strong>Guidelines</strong></p> <ol> <li>Exhibitors must be members of Belfast Senior College. <strong><a href="https://belfastseniorcollege.org/renew">Join now</a>.&nbsp;</strong>Membership is open to adults 50 and over.&nbsp;</li> <li>Participants will pre-register on the Senior College website. Registration opens Monday, June 8. Entry fee is $15.</li> <li>One piece of artwork per artist.</li> <li>Subject matter should be family-friendly.</li> <li>All pieces must be prepared to hang and no wider than 24 inches. (If you are interested in submitting a sculptural piece, please email a photo and dimensions to info@belfastseniorcollege.org.)</li> <li>Works will be hanging for the full month of September.</li> <li>Indicate if work is for sale. Buyers will be given your contact information.</li> <li>Submissions will be accepted on a first-come basis until the available spaces are filled. Please register early.</li> <li>Pieces must be picked up the day after the show ends (Thursday, October 1st from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM).</li> </ol> <p><strong>Label Required for Artwork</strong></p> <ul> <li>Artist’s Name</li> <li>Size</li> <li>Title of art piece</li> <li>Medium – all mediums will be accepted</li> </ul> <p>All labels should be secured on the back when submitted.</p> <p><strong>Important Dates</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Registration is online starting June 8 and ending August 24</strong>.
