Through exercises assigned in class, homework and weekly discussions of our work, students will continue to explore their inner self and gain confidence and clarity in their drawing skills. Some of the topics for this class will include portrait drawing, perspective, reflections, caricature, and maybe a little art history thrown in as well. If it's nice, we might even do some plein air drawings outside!
Students can work in their own area of interest too with guidance from the instructor and we will be making several finished drawings by the end of the course. This class is open to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced. Remember we all learn from each other. Bring your own drawing supplies especially pencils, paper, color pencils, a ruler, etc. We will do most of our work in black and white but can also add color here and there as the class progresses.
