"Still an Unexpected Poet," a personal commentary on writing poetry, will be used as a text and departure point for extensive class discussion in this six-week seminar course. Topics will include being a poet and the places of images, prose, music in poetry.

Teacher:  John McClenahan

A resident of Swanville, Maine, John McClenahen is a writer, photographer, and college teacher with degrees from St. Lawrence University, Western Reserve University, and Georgetown University. He is the author of six books of poetry and more than a dozen collections of photographs.

The book "Still an Unexpected Poet" by John S. McClenahen is required reading and may be obtained from Amazon.com.
