Our Sponsors Help Support Lifelong Learning

Belfast Senior College is celebrating our 25th anniversary this year as a vibrant lifelong learning resource in Waldo County. Contributions from sponsors help support our mission to provide intellectual stimulation, practical knowledge, social interaction and fun for people 50 years of age or older. No tests or grades - just community learning together.

We thank our sponsors for their support of our classes and community events!

  • Feature sponsor logos on digital signage in our office
  • Highlight sponsors at our events
  • Share individual “featured” sponsor profiles in our monthly email newsletter
  • Say thank you on our website class lists each semester.

Your Sponsorship Helps Secure Our Future

Your sponsorship will help secure the future of Belfast Senior College. Though we have been raising some funds from members, we also know it’s the support of our local business community that ultimately makes a difference in our sustainability as an organization.

After we lost our first home in the Hutchinson Center in 2023, we moved quickly, becoming a college-without-walls with classes in multiple Belfast venues. The collapse of our normal delivery systems created new needs and costs – investments in tech, staffing, and venue rentals.

In our 25th year, we celebrate our continued resilience. We continue to operate with only one part-time staff member and a dedicated corps of volunteers, including instructors, class assistants, A/V assistants, and others.

Last fall, we made a bold decision to claim a new home in The Belfast Center to house our office, and provide a place for members to gather for meetings, small classes, and social events.

Your gift today will ensure Belfast Senior College continues to thrive. Thank you.
