This four-session seminar will explore the achievements, failures, and personalities of several American presidential administrations and encourage lively discussion of their possible effects on the 2024 presidential election. What lessons do they offer? What can we not know?

Instructor: John S. McClenahen

A resident of Swanville, Maine, John McClenahen is a writer, photographer and college teacher with degrees from St. Lawrence University, Western Reserve University, and Georgetown University. Based in Washington DC during a 40-year media career, he observed first hand U.S. presidential administrations from Lyndon Johnson to George W. Bush.
