Laura Poppick: Author of Strata: Stories from Deep Time

In this program, Poppick, a Maine science and environmental journalist, will share her Stories From Deep Time as they appear in Strata. We'll hear about her journey through four moments in Earth’s deep past that make our lives on Earth possible and that provide lessons for our future.

Left Bank Books will have copies of Strata available to purchase at the event and ahead of time at the store, and Poppick will be happy to sign books before and after her talk.
