A discussion and exploration of the local, state, and national housing crisis and what the current housing status is for Belfast, what are our hurdles and opportunities are when we consider trying to identify and solve the housing crisis. We will hear perspectives from planners, construction, realtors, advocates, and people of the full spectrum of income challenged by our current housing emergency. The goal of the class is to educate and hopefully activate attendees to support housing options.

Note: Previously we said no class on 1/31/24, but that has changed. New schedule is the normal 4 Wednesdays starting Jan 17th.

Instructor - Mike Hurley

Mike is a long time resident, former Mayor, 7 term city councilor, business person, and community activist.
