This is a four week course designed to present useful information on gardening in our area.  Each session will deal with issues faced by local gardeners.  We will learn about soil readiness, garden layout and design, planting annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, trees and shrubs, including their care and needs in the Maine growing season.

----------

Instructors:

This practical and fun course will be taught by area professionals as well as gardeners from the Belfast Garden Club, including Rebecca Jacobs from the Knox-Lincoln Soil and Water Conservation District; Kate McLeod, Belfast garden designer; and Carol Herwig, retired arborist, Garden Club member and MOFGA certified grower. Lee Graham will be the instructor.
