Continuing a popular previous course, this offers an opportunity to hear six Belfast poets reading their work. Also audiences will hear and discuss presentations by two teachers on six topics in poetry:

  • What is Poetry?
  • Poetry in Response to Nature
  • The Mystery of Poetry
  • Poetry as Memory
  • The Sociology of Poetry
  • Poetry in Response to Love and Death.

Non-poets are welcome as well as poets. Discovery is the theme of a course that we will try to make enjoyable for all.
