Registration

In this class, we explore 18th Century Maine (Province) through two acclaimed historical novels set close to home. We examine the geography, language, laws, relations with the Wabanaki, and the politics of the times.

Each session includes some background material, and much participant discussion.

Instructor: Wendy C. Kasten

Wendy C Kasten, who had taught twelve other courses for Senior College, is Professor Emerita in Curriculum and Instruction in Language Arts, Reading, and Writing. She returned to the Belfast area in retirement (having lived there previously and taught at Searsport Elementary School) in 2013 where she resides with her husband, Chuck Easley and two fabulous English setters.
