This lively workshop will venture beyond the camera's image by using layers in photo editing software. Creating multi-level artworks, adding graphic & textural elements to photos, and designing pages for print/digital publication are the highlight for this semester.

Participants need to have mid-level skills in photo editing and will bring cameras & computers to class for working on projects with first hand guidance. We'll use software that is free to download for all computer platforms.

Instructor: Jim Kosinski

Jim is a popular photography teacher who has been giving classes at the college for several years. His book 'Maine Coast Outings on Penobscot Bay: for All Ages and Abilities' helps seniors, families and those with disabilities select from 25 appropriate outings around the bay from Monhegan to Castine.
