Transforming historic facts and figures into a compelling narrative can be a researcher’s greatest challenge. Is your interest family history? A long-ago event? A cache of letters? A rustic basket? In this course you explore a U.S. history topic of your choice. You then shape your findings into a story that informs and engages.

Tips and tools, feedback on your efforts, and the instructor’s deep experience in communicating history to general audiences help you focus and enrich your endeavor. We welcome all history enthusiasts, yet those conducting or planning a research project will benefit most. You’ll need internet and email access.
