With thoughts and deeds under scrutiny in the US and several other nations, this course focuses on the meanings of Democracy, Justice, and Morality.

Drawing on history, Michael Sandel's writings, and students' perspectives, we will discuss such topics as Citizenship, Civil Rights, Equal Educational Opportunity, Same-Sex Marriage, School Prayer, and Wealth Distribution.

This is a 4-session, seminar-style course.
