In this class, our focus will be to expand our basic drawing skills and experiment further with various drawing materials to find out what we are each most comfortable with. Guided by one-on-one instruction, students will work to hone their drawing skills in specific areas that are of particular interest to them.
Black and white drawing will be emphasized but adding color is also encouraged. Please bring your own drawing materials to class (sketchbook, pencil, ruler, eraser, etc.).
This class is open to students who have had some prior drawing experience (such as a beginning drawing course either at Senior College or elsewhere). It is not a beginner's drawing class.

Instructor: Sandi Cirillo
Sandi Cirillo has been an instructor at Senior College for over 10 years, teaching various courses in art history, all levels of drawing, and classes in fiber art. She is a fiber artist and retired art teacher who teaches all over the country, working with many different arts organizations, business's and adult education programs, as well as doing artist in residence programs at area schools. She is currently represented by Local Color Gallery in Belfast and has her studio in Searsport.
