Create-Imagine-Inspire: Adventures with Acrylic Painting

This is a painting class for the beginner as well as the advanced brush-holder who would like to try “out-of-the-box” techniques. We’ll learn from one another through fast-paced exercises.

This class is not for the faint of heart with regard to staying in the lines - so have fun and learn to let acrylic paint be full of colorful character.

Instructor: Marjorie Arnett

Marjorie Arnett is a published poet and painter and selected as one of Pennsylvania’s artist of influence for her paintings as well as poetry. She taught at the Academy of Art, Zagreb, Croatia, lived as an artist-in residence, Anversa, Italy and awarded an interdisciplinary residency in Porto, Portugal. She served as Dean, College of Fine Arts, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and last year Moon Pie Press published ORDINARY MOMENTS, her book of poetry and gesture drawings.
