Senior College members are all over 50 (and most of us well over). As we age, we face new challenges, dilemmas, and concerns. And we’ve never done this aging thing before. It’s all new territory. So, let’s talk about it in candid large and small group discussions. Let’s learn and share with each other.
In this online five-week class, we’ll address some critical topics such as safety, sleep, our brain, our exercise needs, the importance of socialization, advanced planning, dying, and whatever else comes up. We’ll zoom in a couple of guest speakers. We’ll read articles that may be helpful. We’ll explore local resources. We’ll (try) to help each other make these years meaningful.
Come join the conversations!

Instructor:
Wendy Kasten is a retired Professor of Education who has taught 14 courses for Senior College. She was the Chair of the Board of Aging Well in Waldo County (now defunct) which was a nonprofit loosely affilated with Maine AARP and The University of Maine Center on Aging. Through that association, and the newsletter she founded on aging, she learned how much our collective wisdom can help our friends and neighbors.
