The majority of Americans are overweight and sick, suffering from preventable diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and some forms of cancer. Healthful dietary choices can promote a healthy weight and other health benefits as well as be less expensive than nutrient-poor processed food products.

This program’s goal is to empower people to understand that health-promoting foods, recipes, and meals can be easy, convenient, affordable, and taste great! Attendees of the program will obtain practical cooking, meal planning, and grocery shopping skills and tips that make meals healthful and delicious with gratifying outcomes!

Instructor:

Alecia Sudmeyer was once a reluctant cook, but everything changed when she discovered the transformative power of a whole food, plant-based (WFPB) lifestyle. Today, as a Food for Life Instructor, she is passionate about empowering others to take charge of their health while enjoying delicious, easy-to-make meals. What began as a way to manage weight during menopause soon revealed much deeper benefits.
