More Women Photographers!

How many women photographers can you name? There have been many, but we might not often hear about them. Do women bring different perspectives and subjects to their work than men? We will look at a new group of international female photographers -- some recent, some not, some famous, some not, some you might know, many who will be new to you, and even new to the instructor. This is a completely new chapter in our continuing study of photographers.

There is no need to have taken earlier classes in this series; this class will feature all new photographers. You will be provided with lots of links and book titles for your winter settling-in.

Paul Sheridan has a BA in Art and an MFA in Photography, and for many decades was on the photography faculty at CUNY at many levels— Adult Ed to Graduate. You might say this class is a journey remembering photographers and teacher/photographers who have inspired him.
