Carrots Love Tomatoes and Martha Stewart

When Martha Stewart Living magazine first emerged, the best thing about it for instructor Carol Herwig was the monthly garden calendar. Included with the silly, was so much good information: when to prune your hydrangeas, what to feed your raspberries. As a newspaper reporter, Carol appreciated Martha's "who, what, where, when, why" approach to gardening. We will consider Stewart's approach, along with information from the book, Carrots Love Tomatoes, which dives into companion gardening. Finally, we will also consult the Farmer's Almanac 2026 to plan and map our own gardens for 2026.
