The world of Google is vast and Google Docs is a cornerstone for productivity & collaboration in today's world. From creating a doc to formatting, commenting, sharing, exporting and printing, this class covers the basics of how to utilize Google Docs for word processing.

Please bring your own laptop or iPad and we will cover how to share your documents with others and make comments (and resolve them). We'll review Google Drive as your organizational hub and learn shortcuts to hopefully save you time and brain cells.

Instructor: Cara Harshman
Cara retired young from the hustle of Silicon Valley tech companies and moved to Maine to start a family. She helps people figure out their technology as a day job, in addition to savoring every moment with her 2-year-old daughter. She co-founded a housing cooperative in Belfast in 2023 on the idyllic Little River.

Land Acknowledgement

We want to respectfully acknowledge and honor the Wabanaki Confederacy—specifically the Abenaki, Maliseet, Micmac, Passamaquoddy, and Penobscot Nations—who have stewarded this land throughout the generations. We recognize that we are on their ancestral, traditional, and unceded homelands. We affirm their inherent tribal sovereignty, pay respect to elders past and present, and commit to the ongoing work of truth-telling and decolonization in Maine and beyond.
