This Gentle Chair Yoga class is for everyone! Relax, move, breathe. Use your joints and muscle and bones to get your oxygen and your blood flowing. So good for you!
By our older age, we all have physical complaints - a weak shoulder, a stiff neck, arthritis in our hips or knees. Don't worry! We will each do what we can do. We'll take it nice and slow, especially for those just starting down this path to better health.
We sit in chairs, stand and use the chair for balance if needed, and then we sit down again. No going to the floor in this class. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.

Jackie has been teaching gentle chair yoga for over 10 years. Most of her students are in their 60's, 70's, 80's - even a few in their 90's! She is a certified yoga instructor and has been doing one form of yoga or another since college.
