Registration

In this course we will dive into the world of wine, focusing on practical information so students can quickly use these teachings in the real world in restaurants, bars, and shops. This course is anti-wine snob!

We’ll cover how to taste wine and tips and tricks for navigating wine menus and shop shelves. We’ll discuss how wine is made starting with the vines to winemaking techniques that influence how wine tastes. We will explore trends, history, and regions of the world where wine is made.

There will be plenty of time for questions. And the best part -- we will be tasting wines at each class to really bring the information home! This course is designed with the beginner in mind and will have enough information to keep intermediate students engaged.

A materials fee of $30 is payable to the instructor to cover the cost of the wines we will be sampling.
